Countertop Expressions is looking for a temporary Data Entry Clerk to assist our accounting and administrative team with a backlog of data entry and record cleanup. This is a hands-on, task-focused position and is ideal for someone who is comfortable performing repetitive computer work accurately and efficiently. This is not a management or decision-making position. Responsibilities include: Entering and updating information in QuickBooks and spreadsheets Matching and organizing transactions and supporting documentation Entering invoices, receipts, vendor information and other records Updating Excel spreadsheets and internal trackers Organizing and renaming electronic files Scanning and attaching documentation Reviewing entries for accuracy and completeness Completing other clearly defined data-entry and clerical tasks What we’re looking for: Strong attention to detail Comfortable working independently on repetitive tasks Good typing and computer skills Basic Excel experience Able to follow written instructions and established procedures Organized and dependable Willing to ask questions when something doesn’t match rather than guessing QuickBooks experience is helpful but not required Position details: Pay: $16.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 40 hours/week Duration: Temporary, approximately 2-3 months Location: In-office Reports to: Accounting & Administrative Lead No countertop or construction experience is required.
