Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair small engine issues in lawn mowers, trimmers, and other outdoor equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Provide exceptional customer service and explain repairs to clients.
Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
Collaborate with team members to improve shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a small engine mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of small engine repair and maintenance techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Valid mechanic's certification or relevant training preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
