Contextual Overview

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a full-time, on-site Legal Counsel based in Westerville, OH. This role provides comprehensive in-house legal support, focusing on corporate litigation, employment, commercial, and regulatory matters, as well as extensive contract drafting and negotiation to support global logistics operations.

Key Eligibility Criteria

Education: Undergraduate degree and a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and in good standing.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a law firm, corporate legal department, or governmental agency.
Skills: Proficiency in contract terminology, litigation strategy, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Manage litigation dockets, including employment, commercial, and regulatory disputes.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex customer, vendor, and procurement contracts.
Advise business units on legal risks, policy compliance, and litigation strategy.
Oversee outside counsel and manage litigation budgets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable legal processes.
